Solar Defender over plastic optical fiber foils a theft of solar panels on the roof of a Supermarket

​Partially integrated on the roof of a supermarket near Messia, the Photovoltaic installation satisfies the energy needs of the commercial building and receives the incentives and rates related the Conto Energia 2007 (DM19/02/2007). The PV installation composition: 1000 solar panels for a total power of  200 kWp. ​The security needs: at the installation the owner has expressed the requirement to protect the installation and the financial investment, optimizing the security costs and exploiting the alarm panel already installed in the building.
